Posting in the Garage etc?

I don't myself and if i was going to i would not in case i made a mistake and got ridiculed

Also i have had plenty of problems with my cars but i sort them out through PMs and some mates outside the club,i feel to scared to post anything like that on the MMA sorry i feel like that,i know you all do your best to help people but sometimes it can open a can of Worms so i avoid it.

OK, just read this, I was asked to delete the thread, and being a new Mod on here that is what I did, I now know that I should have moved it, OK I made a mistake all I can say is sorry.

As for Ivor's pistons, I'm sure he will tell you what happened when he reads this, but the one you want to see is the one with the broken valve sticking out of the top of it, from the same incident.

the club is great mate :thumbright: the only reason i dont post is if i have had work done by someone else and if something is spotted that members think is wrong then it can cause problems for the guy who did the work or the last owner for example,so sometimes its more trouble than its worth if you know what i mean.

If ever i get a car and i have done all the work etc then i would have no problem with posting jobs done etc.

I hope that makes sense? i have no problems with the club

I agree with Tony, Far better to avoid car related issues on here, and use the board for moaning about your job / lack of it for example ;) :D :D :D

And this was not Jon's fault it was mine, as I had omitted to brief him on how to move an entire thread.

I am sure someone, unless I am gravely mistaken, once mentioned that being a moderator can be a thankless task. With all the comments in that original thread, all the ingredients were present for it to go much, much further down hill. Taking that into account, the actions were appropriate in my view considering personal offense had been taken.

I am sure Ivor would be quite happy to re-post the pictures of his pistons so we can all have a natter about what happened to them.

I believe it was my comments that kicked all this off, though I never expected or intended to get the thread locked or removed.

So I think it's me to blame. My apologies to anyone who lost input on that thread, it was not my intention. I should probably learn not to speak my mind.

Sorry.

Wow! Just read this whole thing.

Maybe it's a mistake, maybe not.
Maybe those complaining could do a better job than the mods? Somehow i doubt it, it is a thankless task and no-one seems to be volounteering to take their place :?
Brutus: 'This club will never be as good as others if you treat us all with kid gloves' ...Luckily the mods allow you to slag off their own club ;)

Yeah it's a shame a useful thread got binned but it's not the end of the world guys, chill out
