How do you fancy taking a few photos and maybe writing a little bit about your next trip to Le Mans in the Fury for Connected? It would be a great feature!

Thanks Steve.I was actually planning to record my trip this year with my Video Camera.I have been 12 times now and taken a few Photos, never enough,so planned to put one in the Vault to keep me smiling in the Winter Months. It would be an honour and a pleasure to oblige.

I'm pretty sure I have admired your Car at the Brighton Cruise when it was at Woodies Diner.Just love the Front End

Thanks Stewart.
I'm the other side of the valley in Denton. I drive up the C7 every day (or did, until recently). Always slowed down for Rodmell of course. There was a guy there who ran the UK Studebaker club? Also a fellow called Wayne who drag raced a big block 56 Chevy, and then built a Focus drag car for Ford. His road cars include a Cosworth powered Kharman Ghia and a 65 Mustang fastback. Probably long after you left Rodmell. A lot of car activity for such a tiny village!
Yes, I used to go to the Woodies Cruise. Shame it was ruined by idiots. Did you take a car there? If so, I may have a picture of it. We've probably spoken at some point!

I left Rodmell in 1976 so quite a while back.I kept in touch for a while with a Guy called Robert Dedman,he had quite an eclectic collection of Cars and Bikes,he taught me to ride on a Ossa on the green when I was eight or nine years old.He had a Willys Jeep and a Flamed A55 Van,Various Truimphs and an Electra Glide,He was quite an engineer.Indeed a busy Village
The other Car people in the Village were the Dean Brothers, they seemed to have a thing for Scimitars, with the Old Man's claim to fame of appearing on Jim'll Fix it as he was an very accomplished Farrier.
As for Woodies,I took my 67 Caddy Convertible and my 89 Camaro Z28 IROC Convertible on various trips there.

Studebaker man, back in the late 80's there was a guy running a Golden Hawk. He lived between Chailey and Plumpton on one of those long straight lanes. Seem to remember he had other Studes in his sheds and garden too.
