Well there are quite a few stock six pack inductions in the UK. Fair few on Jensen Interceptors too. Some have been crudely modified for mechanical operation.

The one Pete has there on that car is the only "Six Packs to Go" conversion I have seen since my own. Certainly when I had mine converted it was the only one in the UK done like that.

On mine I went further and removed the vacuum cans and fitted a secondary return spring. I painted mine to look a bit more flash too. ;)

And then there's the crazyarse Weiand super stock Six pack cross ram as fitted to Jem's Belvedere. I too had to fit an aftermarket metering block and an 8.5 power valve to get it rich enough at idle. I also had to make adjusters for the outboard carbs to hold them slightly open at idle. All in all a right pain in the arse to set up, and you better have an AFR meter or you'll get totally lost. Once done though, it pulls like a train.

I should add that Vince Donnald did the original installation so I can't really take any credit.

I also have a complete 6 pack set up sitting in the garage in case if feel the need for an original 6 pak "lag" ;)

how come you used a b manifold pete, noticed spacer plates ,are the r\b manifolds hard too find

Terry, it is an RB manifold. Those are Stage 6 heads which are raised port, they use specific manifolds which are wider than an RB intake when using a 440 block. Spacers are the only way to get this particular combination of parts to bolt together, there is no other 6 pack intake that would bolt right up. Stage 6 Heads on a 400 block is considerably easier, any RB intake will bolt straight in.

Blue is spot on.
It has the original Aluminium Edelbrock manifold on it as opposed to the Chrysler cast iron boat anchor manifold..........

Well, we have been out terrorising the neighbourhood in the car today.

We went to one of these organic farm places; so we went down every single track and country lane known to man - great fun in such a car  ;)

Still I learned a couple of things.

1) You CAN lock the front brakes without the back locking end stepping out. Rare for a Mopar.

2) Pheasants appear to be deaf, and probably colourblind.

3) The front of a Coronet is a lot tougher than a Pheasant.

4) The front of a Coronet is a lot tougher than a Mercedes.

When I hit a Pheasant in the Merc, it did a considerable amount of damage - to the Merc!!

Fortunately, there was no damage to the Coronet at all, not even all that tedious washing off blood and feathers.....felt sorry for the bird but there was nothing I could do..................
