Great looking car Pete! Love it!
Johnson matthey at royston..... Two guys from Johnson matthey over from the states knocked on my door and asked to look at the '57.... We had a long chat, then I asked them why Royston has higher amount of asthma suffers than the rest of the country. They looked a bit shocked as they walked away.
Did you know..... When Rover were alive. They had a contract with the National Trust. No other car marque could be photographed and published on N.T. land....
Mine of useless info me!

Good to hear from you Marcel. Hope you are OK healthwise. Sorry to see the "for sale" ad for your car..............
Yes, They took the 426 Hemi out of the Daytona and put a 440 back in; not sure why.
The car was not numbers matching............Those 4.10 gears are a killer on the street though...........
Oopps, I've done it again!!!

Hi Pete,
Health is good; been free of cancer for a year now, so a party this week!
Looking if i can sell the Savoy, but i am not gonna give it away.
Troy is still driving the 4-tens, but put in a ...how do you call it-tranny-splitter-thing behind the transmission. So he can drop the revvs on the highway. Nice car indeed. T has got a lot of fun with it.
We went to the Aerowarrior-meet in Talladega with it in '09.

I think he installed a Gear Vendors in it.
Annoyingly, they are built in the UK but not available over here; you have to buy from the 'States
He sent me some pictures from the Track!
