Thanks Charger for the guidance, well done.

The above link will lead to my story, somewhat.
And of course the pics.

Let me just say that if anyone recalls this car from their past life please, raise your hand.....

Cheers!

Lots of work there John. Guess it spent too long in the UK.

You should share some of the history that you learned from Mrs Landseer. Are you still in touch with her, or has she passed on? Didn't she tell us the car was made of aluminium or something? Bless her.

Mrs. Landseer

Hey Adam,

I spoke with her shortly after you mailed me with your account of your chat with her.

Yes she was quite the gal indeed. She was very sharp with me when I said it wasnt made of alum but of steel.

She about chewed me a new one when I mentioned Leo was a pop photographer, he was NO paparazzi she said to me!!

I had to back pedal out of that one quick. She told me about their flat in Brighton beach, how he loved that car...i sensed it meant a quite alot to Leo.

Sad to say she passed not to long after that :(

Leo's daughter sent me a stack of pics, the one I posted is the best one.

has anyone come across a Mike Hodges? restores MGB, fiats, mini's that sorta stuff.

He's the gent I bought the car from...sure would like to get him updated too.

Its been damm near 15 years since it was in has dads grain barn!
