I`m with you on the blackouts Rob, they spoil the look of the car IMO....sod the purists

Well i did have one thought (which may well have me strung up by some lol) of putting 68 style side stripes on her instead in Red...... waits for the lynch mob.....

Well Pete looking for a Superbee & ending up with a GTX, you clearly have someone up there looking out for you! As you can't get better than a GTX!

As for the side stripes, I say go for what you like! It's your car & you want to keep that grin on your face everytime you see it & drive it so have it the way you want it.

All good points Sinny, , on the subject of getting the car the way i want it, i've decided i fancy a nice woodrim steering wheel.
The rim of the original one is a little thin for my taste, and the plastic is slipt a little bit, can anyone recommend anything?

Well with alot of help from Jon Connelly , she's gone off up to Dave B's today for chassis ties and to have a few gremlins sorted out, then up to Ash's

Well chaps, good news is Ash is getting close to painting the old girl and im currently searching for a colour, the fender tag seems to decode as White...not very helpful, so im currently trying to find a nice white to paint her, im shying away from the very modern bright white she's prviously worn and wanting to look for something slightly more orginal, with a creamier (not sure if thats a word) tint. Suggestions and or examples would be very welcome please.

Hi Pete.
My Coronet is mono tone white as standard.
Looks "creamy " compared to modern whites and looks gorgeous in the sun.
I believe Ivor is the man for code etc.
