What's a good time to turn up ? I know the museum opens at 10:00 but do they let us in a little earlier ?
adrian.
More often than not, Adrian, yes, you can get in and parked up before 10, but on the odd occasion we've been kept waiting by the old boys at the gatehouse until 10 o'clock comes around and they've get their thermos and day's supply of Werthers ready

Reminder to anyone coming who hasnt been before, or not for a few years...
If coming in your daily, you'll need to park in the Brooklands visitors car park which is accessed via the Mercedes-Benz World roundabout on the B374 (signposted Brooklands Museum & Mercedes-Benz World).
If coming in a car that you are hoping to park with the other Mopars/Yanks/rods etc, you need to use the old entrance which is about 400yds north of the above mentioned roundabout, also on the B374.
Good luck

Well it looks like we are in for a great turnout at Brooklands and according to the BBC weather, it looks like it will be dry and we may even get a spot of sunshine.
Martin, Matt and I will have the MMA marquee there and we'd love to see you come and join us to talk cobblers for a while, we will have MMA mugs for sale for your tea or coffee at £4 or three for a tenner, plus MMA Tee shirts and baseball caps.
Also, a heads up for anyone looking for a car, I've had a call from the wife of a sadly deceased member who is bringing along a '64 Plymouth Fury two door with a 440 in it and it will be up for grabs on the day.
See you there!

We aim to be there, then go onto Shakey at around 3 pm
If anyone fancies a bit of a convoy from Brooklands to Shakey look out for our white 72 Challenger
Do fill up with fuel first to avoid motorway prices
Will go M25 then M40

Oooohh, a 64 Plymouth Fury two door with a 440..... Could it be enough to turn my head from a Charger??
