I dont think you paid too much. Try and buy a 1970 or down B body for less. Just needs work, they always do!

The plan is to calculate it its more cost effective to do a days off-shore work and pay someone to work on the car or bide at hame and do the work myself. Personally id rather sit on my hoop and earn the same coin as grafting for a day under a rusty car.

What I will be doing on holiday is building a wish list and buying what body panels/skins I need plus a complete interior. If I can just feel the new vinyl and pretend Im actually gonna fit it I get a great sense of accomplishment. .

Think the price is really good for what you have got!
Always great buying a blank canvas like that. You can do what you want without feeling guilty of what the car used to be!
