Thought it may have been a different one, or I would have said!
Deprived area........used to deliver round that way in my younger years....... Was an ongoing joke back at the shop about parking for more than 5 and the loss of wheels, windows, doors...........most of it to be honest!

I've recently completed my engineering degree at London South Bank and IMO its a 'reasonable' Uni. That said, at Degree level its all about the effort you put into it. Its in Elephant & Castle (South London) and I wouldn't want to live anywhere near it
Digs are going to be expensive in London.
Manchester / Brighton would be my choice
