A quick update and question, chaps..

Is it 19:30 at the pub for a quick pint / aperitif; OR is it 19:30 sitting down with knife and fork (or in my case Spoon) in hand ready to start the first course???

I need to herd some cats (in this case Roydon and Ade) to ensure we are on time(ish..)

Hi Pete, yes I think it's an 8pm sit-down, as usual (Stu can confirm), so we'll be aiming for 7.30.... ish to grab a swift half or two before the main event

Dammit. Just checked Matt's original post. He's only gone and booked it for 7.30

Mind you, we usually keep them hanging around for 30 mins while we wait for everyone to turn up, and we stay there till closing so it's not as if they need the table for anyone else afterwards, so maybe we'll be ok to ge there at 7.30 and sit down at 8....

Once again a great gathering and really good meal - probably the best we have had there and also really good service.

Only downside is that there is little chance to mingle and socialise (unfortunately we we a bit late due to unforeseen circumstances) ; however, it was really good to see everyone, shame it was not longer.....
