I'm sure it gets busier every year, on all days, but Friday is especially noticeable. It started out, about 10 years ago, as an additional 'trade' day, with the idea of it being less crowded - hence the higher ticket price.

Worth it tho, especially if you want to take any pics :)
Did you wangle the free parking again Rob ????????

Rob, I don't need a camera, just rely on you!
Great pics even in the orange light areas.
it looks like you photographed nearly everything there.

I was thinking more of the cost of food & drink once you're in there. About £2.50 for a paper cup of coffee, best part of £8 for a Full English.
Classic & Sportscar had their own cordoned-off area with posh waiter service - I didn't study what was on offer but you could get 2 courses for £22 or 3 for £25 per person.

Entrance to the show varied depending which day you went or whether you bought in advance, had club discount (did anyone here use it?) or bought a family ticket.

Last year we went on the Saturday (cos Andrew had college on the Friday) and we got a family ticket for the 3 of us with club discount and it cost about £12.50 each.
This year we chose the Friday as Andrew doesn't do Fridays this term, and it cost about £25 each booked in advance (no family tickets or club discount available on Fridays  )

Not this time unfortunately Dunc, we left just before it closed, so the jobsworth was still in his (or her, I think) kiosk, to pocket any tenners that were handed over :x

Cheers Matt :) There were a few I didn't post cos they were just too orange (inc the Gordon Keebles) but on the whole, the lighting looked better this year. Certain colour carpets (on stands that can afford them!) can affect the pics too. Red's usually the worst, and thankfully there weren't too many red carpets this time!

Looking at Shaun's pics, we missed the Gulf stand and whatever stand the Tri-Chevys were on, and didn't see many bikes, but I'll catch that lot next year ;)
