I was thinking the same. Glad Mossy took it the right way. :D

Still, what kind of experimental fun can you have for a tenner these days?

Bought the wife some love beads, they where a tenner too (used) we where stumoed as to who used them first.

Most refreshing.

Off topic, but we're having a mammoth Brew Day tomorrow. 90 pints of German Pils and 90 pints of California Common/Hybrid Ale/Lager.

Maybe this is a separate thread. (Sorry Mossy)

The results.
After 2 weeks of driving daily I can report.

No mpg gains at all. Exactly the same as stock air box.

No power gain. Not that I can notice anyway !!

So. Glad I only spent 11 quid on this experiment.
Throttle response is noticeably crisper , and the induction sounds nice but that is it !!!!
Perhaps a heat shield may help ? But not something I will be spending time making.
I'll probably leave it on for a bit then switch back to stock to compare.
