Loved the 'stig' delivering 1,000,000 sig petition to BBC in a tank.

Only one winner out of all this - Clarkson. Big style. My money is the BBC have to cave, they cant cant risk the audience he generates.
I bet you his agent has had LOADS of phone calls from other TV channels asking for him to front similar style shows. Any chance both Hammond and May might follow if he gets a big money deal.........££££££

I agree with you Morgan.
Just that very scenario makes this one hell of a decision for the BBC. Nobody should be untouchable, but i'd expect that Top Gear (which going by recent seasons has been showing signs of being tired and done to death), would cease to exist by the end of the year if Jezza goes.

Maybe chucking money at Chris Evans or some other motorhead would assist in keeping it alive................

Whatever, will be interesting to see!!!! :thumbright:

Yep. Breaking news. Not sure he is 'sacked' but 'contract not renewed'.

See him on ITV/Ch4/Sky soon at much more £££.

Evans will be loved and hated, just like Clarkson was. He has good taste in cars and will be a strong enough character to give it a new lease of life. It sure as hell needs to change, it's been at deaths door for few years!
