Amber on the front, red on the rear '68 car, it'll stay that way for as long as the MOT man will pass it....

Amber in the rear reversing lamps on the Polara and the Fury. Insurance hassles not worth the risk...its an easy out if you have a bump. Easy to do yourself with some swapping of wires etc.

I also had the side lights in the indicators on the Fury. Bought some Autopal UK legal units with the side light aperture so I could move the side lights up into the headlamps....again easy, legal and keeps the Insurance companies on your side :thumbright:

Amber on the front, red on the back. American style/size plates. Thats how it will stay until I'm told otherwise by the boys in blue. :drwho:

Amber bulbs in the reverse lights, amber bulbs in the front valence lights. States plates front and rear. MOTs fine - although was quizzed ref plates once.

Oh, and got tailed by traffic police, thought ' dammit, its the plates' , after a while they pulled alongside and just stayed there. After a while i looked over at them - they both gave me big thumbs up and roared off. Clearly petrol heads :)

when I first got my charger some 26 years ago , thought i'm not going to change to amber indicators & stop the brakes lamps flashing :P , that's what the car was built with etc etc , never had a problem MOT time either back then, but now as ive got older & possibly thinking too much :? :help: , with all the idiots on the road these days , be a wise move to change to European spec , we all know on here what the deal is with red turn signals , but not every one does , a lot of drivers find it hard enough texting while driving & paying attention to the car infront !! let alone a strip of red lights . i was a bit should I when I started converting mine , but I looked at it this way , my car is never going back to the US , ( at least while i'm alive  ) we are never going to change to the US lighting laws over here . can get repop lenses for most mopars now , or used is just a phone call away to the US etc . & above all peace of mind , next time you see a certain generation up dating their FB status while trying to drive behind you , least you know he/ she should be able to see & recognise you have braked/stopped & or your turning left or right
