On a slightly more serious note, Julie and I have only just returned from a long weekend away.

Firstly, I must thank Sean most sincerely for all his efforts and energy as Chairman - one only had to see the successful NEC event last year to appreciate his hard work. He is an asset to the club and I really hope he remains actively involved.

In terms of the vacant Chairman's post, Sean and I checked the club constitution and as it stands there is no voting process for the selection of Chairman.
As a small club, it sensibly has a light constitution so that it is easy to administrate.

Therefore, I requested that Sean canvassed opinion, and more importantly asked if there were any (no doubt far more suitable) people than myself that would like to take on the role of Chairman; hence this thread.

I am quite happy for another person to assume the role of Chairman, but I would equally be proud to do my bit if the wider membership deem that there is a faint chance I may be trusted not to mess up too badly....

Over to you guys.... and thanks so far for the really nice (for most part!) comments.

... And Yes, Duncan does have a point; and if I do take on the role I promise to be on my best behaviour......... maybe..... ;)

I would like to put myself forward as Chairman of the MMA. I feel I have a lot to offer and I have youth on my side.

Only kidding, who other than Pete could take realistically hold this role?

Have't been on this forum since early Friday and now its all changing!!

Firstly I have to thank Sean for his leadership and hard work and wish him all success with his new job.

Secondly Mr Wiseman would be the best person for the job as he is always helpful and there to answer any questions on Mopars.

Many thanks sinny for all your hard work....

My vote is for pete

he has very big feet,or maybe just large boots and tiny feet, hard to tell, but i recon the former, i doubt he'd mess about buying over sized boots just of the hell of it, seems a bit pointless if you ask me.

But he gets my vote

Go..Peter Go..Peter etc.
