It is in bits now Dave.... Been there today pulling things out to check them over.
One things for sure. There is a lot of work ahead to get this done. Made a list of some parts to get.
Next time at the shop, I hope to have pickup bed and gas tank/fuel lines installed. And start on some sort of wiring. I want the motor in and running next month.

Glad you're getting well stuck in Jeff! I'm very picky about hot rods, there's not many I like. Definitely roof chop ad no fenders. Manual shift is a great choice.
Best of luck with it
Yes, fenderless is the way to go. But, will cost a few thousand more, and probably mean the thing won't get done in time for next season. From day one, I have said this has to be on the road for 1st event.
Planning a full day at the shop tomorrow with Joe. Lots of measuring to see if what I have is going to work, and to get ready to order what I need. Hope to get motor up and running. If the painless systems are as good as I have been told. Then it should run.
Oh, as long as I can get a fuel system installed. I am hoping that arrives at the shop today.
Just sold some swag from the garage, that I forgot I had. That should be enough to buy a nice set of steels from wheel vintique.
Will try to remember the camera!
Oh, gonna squirt some paint on it, to seal it all up for the build. Might as well, I have the booth!
You're really cracking on with this, eh, Jeff?
If it were left to me at the pace I seem to work I'd still be sat there with a notepad trying to work out and write down what parts I thought I needed!
Big decisions made today.. Yes, it will be fenderless! Here is a mockup of what we are doing.... We got a lot done. Motor is in, and fired right up!
Slight problem with too much fuel pressure. But we can sort that. Great day at the shop.

Roof chop will be last, if at all actually! Scary thing is, the guy that built the motor says 400HP easily! Far too much on such a light car with Cross plys!!!!
