My 2 cents, if I were ever in the position to buy a 6 figure unmolested car then I'd shell out another 5 for a clone that could be used as the daily!

What a lucky family they must be. It's not a high value car to them... it's just "grandads old car".
This video really resonated with me as I can relate to a lot of things that the owner says about "grandpa". Without boring folk with too many details... I lost my grandad nearly 10 years ago. He was a Jaguar man all his life and that is the main reason there's a “Daimlerised” Jaguar XJ40 parked on my drive. It’s that link to the past which brings so many of us to old cars?
In many ways I think it's such a shame that the speculators have put so many of these vehicles out of reach for most enthusiasts. On the other hand at least they will still be preserved in another 40 years for the next generation to appreciate, assuming petrol hasn't been outlawed by then of course...
