What I need is a wheel and tyre shop so that I can experiment to my hearts content
I'm a big fan of 15's hence my purchase of wider steels in 15's
I've just measured the rear TT's that were on my car and they are 9.5 I'm not sure how the BS is measured?
Is it back face of hub all the way to the outer edge of the inner rim edge in which case mine have a 5" BS
Stevo.....the second wheel pic you posted is what I have albeit mine a 16" so I could simply prepare and paint them as they've always been a fave in that colour
there is a lot of good info here ! on this site ! ,

you can adjust any tyre & wheel combos , for measurements , also , when I was figuring out , mine , ie widest wheel & tyre on all four corners , including a matching spare ( just for reference a 255 tyre on a 15 x 8 wheel , wont fit in the trunk , in stock location on a charger , I had to move hold down bracket ) after spending hours measuring all the different sizes & making a card board wheel / tyre mock up ( no joke

,) I decided to buy one of these , ( percyes wheel right thingy)
every where in the us stocks them now , but had to phone them direct then

after hours & hours / days of fun with this contraption , ( you need to try it on all four corners too , because as we all know factory tolerance / dimensions , were not like todays cars ! especially the rear axle placement under the car , also have to factor in , if a car has had repop rear quarters , the wheel arch lip , is wider on some makes of quarters , about 1-1/8" on some , not all body guys trim to match the OEM width .
luckily the rear axle measurement on mine was the same both sides , well ever so slight difference , not worth mentioning , a lot of cars are not , by all accounts , plus mine had the original quarters .
anyway what I found out , some of the popular aftermarket alloy wheels
8x15 with a 3.75 back space , 225 -235 tyre is max on all four corners
like ( hemi472) mentioned

, to have 295x50x15 rear tyre you need a 15x10 with a 5 or 5 & a half back space , imo 5 inch puts the tyre too close to the wheel arch lip , 5 & a half back space is better , also not sure if there is any rubbing with this set up of partial / full suspension compression ! because in a second generation rear wheel well , there is a hump in the metal ( design )
as mentioned before widest at all four corners 15x8 with a 4 or a 4& a half inch back space with a 245 or 255 x60x15 tyre
on front 15x7 wheel with a 3.75 back space 225 or 235 max maybe a 245 x60 x15 I never measured the 245 though ,
like I mentioned before , because one car varies to the next &
because of Chryslers quality control / production tolerances , need to check your own & each corner to be sure ,
nother thing just checked , torque thrust D wheels are made in a 15 x8 with a 4 & a half inch back space now !! they wernt when I was looking ! think these would look good on yours Lee with 245 tyres

sorry ive got a bit side tracked , not a hijack as such , but thought be a good idea to share my findings to help anyone in the future !! , not got the wheel rite thingy anymore , figured it was only a one time deal to use it so sold it on , other wise anyone could of borrowed it ! & had hours / days of fun ... all the sizes are from memory , think ive still got all the notes I made at the time ...
also all are based on the stock suspension set up ,& imo safe tyre / wheel clearance to wheel arch lip etc ...
ok back on track , yes get your TT wheel spokes painted , is a good idea , think I would go for a matt grey colour ...
or if it was me , maybe sell them & get the ones in the summit link above !!
