Love a Brogue and the colour is great Jem. My prized footwear possession is a pair of Alligator tail cowboy boots I bought at R Soles in the kings road a few years back.

This has to be my favourite poster of the lot, I bought it from Matt Snowball and I remember going to see a double feature just as advertised here.

Boring !!!!!!!!! not so, It is great to see what other little interests some of us have, I am very interested in U boats and subs in general , my fav has to be the type 21 U boat and the Japanese I 400 , , I think maybe the largest of all WW 2 subs...……..check it out. A couple were captured at the end of the war then destroyed , only after the US Navy had had a good poke around the front where a hanger contained 2 single engine float planes.

Also what has come to light lately is all the German WW2 tanks and other hardware that is being pulled out of swamps and rivers in Russia and Poland, some available to view on You Tube.

……...some may say I am a bit boring as restore old petrol pumps from the sixties and seventies , just a bit of fun but it keeps me in the garage on winter nights when all is quiet , oh and I also have a thing for surfboards , I have 5 . The last one I did I had a marlin painted on it in flakes and candies and is currently propped up in the conservatory gathering dust, wife thinks it a bit weird as I don't surf !

Have done the front nose cone of a 79 Firebird complete with working lights ……….not even sure what I am going to do with that !!!

And we keep our Christmas lights on all year round, my wife calls them welcome lights...……….yup !

NORMAL FOR NORFOLK :-k

Very interesting Guy. I also like surfboards and the UK surfing culture but am just a casual spectator. I love the surf shops in Cornwall and have just had a very fleeting visit to the new Surf centre in Newquay while the Boardmasters was on. Got a great book on the boards and a book called 'The Surfing Tribe' which documents the birth of the UK surf scene.

I agree, think these little interests keep us going on a day to day basis. Sometimes its just browsing the internet and dreaming or hitting quirky little shops on our travels and picking up odds n sods. Great fun!!

Cheers Steve :thumbright:

Would be fantastic!

Todays project, framing my favourite LP cover. My dad gave me it in the 70s when I got my first record player. It was one of his favourite albums (1962) and made me realise that there is much more to music than what everyone else was listening to or wanted me to listen to....thanks Dad :thumbright:
