Just open the under-dash-vents and keep the windows open... Mine stinks ! :)

I must have a good one, no smell, no leaks, starts hot or cold, the only thing I did was to fit a fuel vapour separator,(fuel return filter) then the fuel can't sit there and boil, it's been there years now.

How does this work Derek? Does it have a return via the small pipe back to the tank?

Fuel vapour separators were mentioned earlier in this thread. They seem to have been fitted to early 70s B bodies. A mate has one fitted to his 72 Satellite.

The phenolic spacer is fitted, seems to have done the trick. The carb was running lean so new needles and bigger jets fitted. Cars running better now.

Yes Matt, a small return pipe is needed but you also need the sender unit with the return built in, or some how make up your own return in the sender.
