It does, but some might just prefer white to purple.
Matching numbers is nice if you have it, but not a reason to walk away from a car.
Add in a bit of cabin fever, auction frenzy and having to bid on line, that white car is strong money but if someone is prepared to pay it, then that is the market.
It mainly means that everyone with a Challenger should check what they have it insured for as it will cost more to replace.
Looking at the video from when it was for sale in the States, looks to me like it does have the original engine / running gear - he says everything is matching numbers?
I'd rather have paid the price from when it was for sale in the States, if it was $48k, or £35k nowadays

Ive always liked the volocars website - given they are an agent making markup I always felt their prices were not insane.
Hows about this cheeky little number Twins...?

So that Bonhams Challenger was originally the 71 above?
Or must be one of the last MY 70 cars, with a build date of September 1970
The chassis number says 1970. JS23NOB112248

The 71 was posted purely to illustrate what was available - I'd rather have had an orginal 71 than the "personalized" 70 for the money. It just happened that the two looked similar!

Now I know next to nothing about buying and selling cars but if I had just bought that, put £20k on it and put it back up for sale, I would be prepared for everyone able and willing to pay that to know the current market and the availability of these cars and know exactly what I'm doing?? Would love to hear the answer when the prospective customer points this mark up out.
