Comin' home in the early hours, I think I have hit a fox! :?

Just 3 miles from home on the dual carriage way just before Rawtenstall. I didnt even have time to blink never mind hit the breaks. It just jumped right out of the undergrowth, right in front of me @ 70 mph.

Lad I was with reckoned it was a fox but I thing it must have been bigger. But what a mess it's made of the van, there's even dents in the bonnet. And the front bumber although looks o.k has been pushed right in and bounced back out again. The rad is shot, and I don't know where the grass came from, there was tones of it stuck to the front. I can only assume it came from the animals stomach! :pale:

I couldn't stop. There is no hard shoulder and the nearest lay by was quarter of a mile down the road. So I just carried on until a got to Rawtenstall half a mile and pulled on the garage to view the damage. The radiator warning light came on, on impact and was a really heavy impact so I knew the rad was goosed.

Oh well, that's me off work tomorrow. :pub:

I mean today :?
