Hope to see you there Wednesday Dave.

As for the Nats, I have my mates wedding on the Saturday unfortunately but now the car is running I may just come down on the Saturday night. I have a poll soemwhere on the boards about it. :?

I did the MOT today on my lunch break, my boss came with me in his van as I swore it would only take a couple of hours. We were just doing an advert, not like it was important or anything :D he didn't mind that much although we did have an angry producer to explain ourselves to but after he saww the car, he didn't care either.

Wet, knackered and stinking of fuel now but happy that it's legal after allthis time and effort.

Big thanks to all who helped out and gave advice, proper thanks to be given in person over beers, my treat. :thumbright:

yeah i remember the "wedding poll" now
ticking away the moments that make up a dull day, you fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.

My mate just got an iPhone, he can take 3d pictures. This is the only photo to prove I finally got the car to the local cruise. Good to see some of the lads and to go in my car for the first time. :thumbright:

Looks like my mate will have his wedding car after all, no Nats for me this year. Can't afford the trip down for just Sunday. :(

Next year though  shame, I was really looking forward to it. The car will be better next year anyway, new exhaust, run in, sorted a bit more. Just gutting that it's done and legal and I won't be there.

Have fun everyone, take some pictures.

Haven't posted anything in a while, here's a couple of shots at my mates wedding. Great day after all, still would have liked to have gone to the Nats but I'll be there next year. :thumbright:

That is indeed a lovely colour.
The body-coloured bumpers are mad ! I shouldnt like them, but I really do ! Good looking car.

Cheers for the comments guys. The more I take it out the happier I am with it. Especially the colour, dead chuffed after ages of only seeing it in my garage it's nice to see it out and about in the sun.

I too am taken with the bumpers. It was simply a case of how much it would cost to rechrome them but then we thought with the other touches we were doing they would fit stylewise and make it look a bit different and I'm pleased I did it.

Next big job is a new exhaust system, just waiting for the funds to do it. I will update as and when.
