right people unless you are going to say somthing nice please dont post kiwi has worked bloody hard on this engine spent a lot of his spare time in his garage and i feel sorry for him reading some of these comments and so have i and its not fair on either of us the choice of colour was MINE I like it it was MY desicsion i wanted to try something diffrent away from the norm red and blue i think what i have done works

after the fire up i certainly wont be posting any more progress reports you can come see them for yourself and tell me to my face :evil:

Come on Si, dont take the comments to heart. Remember opinions are like arseholes, every bodies got one, doesnt mean there right though.

People are always quick to criticise, I have had it said about mine, you should of never cut up a good 71 Cuda, bla,blah, blah. Water of a ducks back to me.

If you want matt black, then thats fine its your choice, if others dont like it tough, its not there decision & your choice.

I'm sure alot of these comments were made in jest & were probably said to try & wind you up. Dont give them satisfacton of knowing there winning.

mark im not Bananarama! off i wasent saying that in anger or anything i was just saying i dont mind one or maybe two comments but i would rather not have any atall :thumbright:

Si , the comments are about the colour of the block , NOTHING had been directed at Kiwi , unless of course he helped you paint it. :D

Yep,nothing wrong with Kiwis input. :thumbright:

I just think it'll be hard to live with the paint choice,especially the matt finish.

dont get so wound up simon, the only comments i have seen is the choice off color on the engine like you said that was your choice not kiwi,s,
and anyway lookin at the state off the timing cover etc it wont be long till that scabby old black falls off and yer back to blue anyway, :D :D

the choice of colour was mine kiwi painted it as i rarly get a chance to do anything with work

as previously stated i am not Bananarama! off just rather the comments werent there :thumbright:

me and kiwi fired up the engine today fired up pritty much straight away he went to get his timing gun while i sorted out a few leaks

went for drive around for a couple of hours and she drives sweet as a nut so tomorow morning i will drive her into work for the rest of the work
