yea i couldnt beleive how light the whole lot is compared to the original set-up.
Yes Andy i spent longer putting the bits together and browsing through the instructuion looking for toque settings then i did acctually putting um on, but if there's a next time than itll be a quike speedy job because there an easy kit to fit really.
yea i forgot to buy some lock wire so ill have to pull um off during the week and spend a couple of hours spinning me plyers.
In good time kev, i just wanna get all the brakes, sus', axle and box done before i start on the motor so ill be able to h-up and stop that extra grunt and at the same time do it on a budget so itll take a while, But we'r getting there.

Pete, Don't bolt them steel wheels on to them ali hubs, you need a wilwood steel spacer on first

Looking good by the way

Looks good, Pete. Are the new hubs 4" or 4.5" PCD?
If you are at the Hot Rod drags, i wouldnt mind a closer look as we have the same front Drum set up.

nah ashley im getting some alloys on monday or tuesday.
miles, on the hubs on the wilwood kit you can have 4.5 or 4.0, have a look at the hub pic and youll see the slightly smaller 4.0 stud pattern empty

Woah, there young gun! I was under the impression that Wilwoods were Ford/Mopar and Chevy pattern. The smaller hole circle being 4.5" and the bigger being Chevy 4.7" whatever. You have checked haven't you?

Nice job Pete
Think I'll have to put disc brakes on the RR when it's up and runnin' that'll probably be the first job and a servo. Havent bothered yet, had enough to spend on.

Pete, do check the pcd sizes. Like Kev sez, I thought willwood don't cater for 4" pcd or else I might have had some by now. When i last looked, only SSBC offered a hub with Mopar 4" pattern.
Hope its all ok!

yea had a go at it from that direction but i started getting violent with it as i kept hitting me head on the Bananarama! brake pedal.
just lowered the steering colum about an inch then the clocks can come out easy, plus i neede3d to fit some new bulbs in me dash so two in one like.

That looks great
such a pleasure to use new easy to bolt on bits init.
make sure you do a bit of gentle brakeing to run/burn them in. be a shame to warp a disk first outing

funny you should say that as i read the willwood run in processe and it says hard slow speed full lock stop then check for leaks ect. then full out hard brake at high speed until i get brake fade the drive slow to cool the brake run in done. lmao but that is on a race car lol
