To find each other we need to know the full name you use on there. If you guys find me "David Robson" and make me a "friend" then from there you can see everyone else that has found me (my "friends") and you can then contact/link to those you want to.
Once you are listed as friends with eachother you can instant message each other and share any games photos/videos etc. You can even swear on there if you like.
As you look around in there you sometimes come across interesting people you didn't know before. Friends of friends so to speak. So you can use it to talk to people you hadn't met before.

Have I been rumbled?
I succumbed a while ago but I am rarely on there. Mind you, it has been instrumental in showing how birds I fancied as a teenager can be dramatically changed into complete ming pots.
