Enjoying the Beauty 'Pala in Classic American - look forward to similar accounts of what happens with that amazing Charger.
You've probalby seen the film 'Joe Dirt' but if not have a look - I reckon you've got the UK version!

Not ever seen Joe Dirt but will look it up!
The Allegro is nearly Honda powered - the heart is all from a Rover 827 Sterling Si with 5-spd manual. I tried to keep it British (albeit Honda design....).
Just got back from the honeymoon and the house is chaos. The Charger is sat on the drive awaiting spannering. Not even had time to open the trunk and check out the spares or strike up the 383. Watch this space....

Although the car wasn't at the Euro Nats I headed over on Sunday and was blown away by the people as well as the cars. Put lots of faces to forum names and chatted to plenty of owners who didn't mind questions from Pentastar novices or pictures of nooks and crannies of their Chargers.
Thanks to everyone for being just so cool and friendly.
Will post up some inspiration pics but I can now say that the Deathproof Patina machine will be running black steels with no caps and redline tyres. Can anyone tell me if you can buy 16 or 17" steels? Do people make repros? How wide can I go at the rear? I hear 10J is possible without any mods. Oh, and does anyone do redline wide tyres?

Watch this space! Depends on when I get it on the road really. It's not going to be for at least 2 months after the bodywork, brakes and cutting back that paint to the original F6 light green. We shall see though. I want to drive it before winter.....

Was searching through the boot the other day to see the bits it came with. I have a brand new pair of valances for the car which I doubt I will be using so these might be up for sale soon. Might swap for any trunk panels if anyone has some kicking about?

stockton do the plain steels in up to 16 by 10

Wheel vintiques also do smoothie steels in 17s which might look good without the trim cap and ring - they also do a whole bunch of other cool stuff (including rally-look alloys):

these aren't steels but pretend to be:

you can tell I've spent some time looking into this

Is that you Mr Wakely?
Excellent links, cheers. Stockton's online price list doesn't seem to work but I like the idea of Magnum 17s on the back and 14s or 15s on the front. Black steels are the perfect menace look though, with redlines of course....

yep, it's me. I think the Stockton steels in 16s all round with wider rears and larger tires on the back would look great. Leave off the poverty caps and fit some chrome wheels nuts and you're there...
Though I do love these billet magnums on Chargers:

Not exactly cheap though...

Dont know if this helps you think about size/options but here are the former wheels on my Charger - 10" wide chrome smoothies, 15" on rear, 14" on front. 295/80/15s on rear.
Now taken off due to removal of air shocks - they will not fit under the wheelarch at the height without airshocks. If you go for 10 inch wide rims with 16 or 17 inch diameter will 275 tyres fit? What set up you going to use for shocks and springs Jonny?

If you're not going to use the valences, I'd be inetersted if you decide to sell em. Is there two of the same or one front and one rear?
