I also agree, Dzeus fasteners would be my choice. Especially with your expected ET/terminals ....

Adam,
Let me know what size you are thinking of using, got quite a few of the smaller size one x 1/2" long, brand new, so in good nick.
I personally used the larger Dzus, but that was because angle clips were from when I had an older hood.
I used an available right angle bracket & Dzus, which is fixed to the return edge of the wing. See picture.
Fixing clips tend to come in 2 pitches, Dzus clips come in varying Diameters & lengths. I have also got some older/larger size clips if you want to try to see what size / length you want.
Sorry, I haven't got any spare brackets though. I can let you know the sizes of Dzus I have used, their approx position, length, etc

I used the same brackets as shown in the hood kit, just don't remember where I bought em from.

Little bit off subject, but noticed they sell the clico pliers/fasteners for $19.99. Very handy tools to have when you have a lot of tin work to do

Adam,
Is the return lip on your wing flat, those brackets shown in the Jegs link need a flat surface to mount on. The ones shown are generally bolt on, but can be welded, mine were gold cad plated. You will have to ask about chrome ones or get em chromed.
Give me an hour or so & I will send you photos of the brackets I used for the boot. These are smaller & not spaced out as far, but may not suit you as these are welded. Could always weld a tab on & make them bolt on.

I already had the brackets on the side of the front fenders these are the same as in the kit, the ones I used across the front were flat brackets that we bended up to follow the line of the hood. Also it's a good idea to use the clico fasteners and pliers to set your clips up before wielding or riveting

Slightly less than hour, The ones on the left & Right are the type of Dzus brackets I used for my boot lid. They are available from Andy Robinson, any style is £1.20 Each
