Yes mr RUNNER i am sure.
A GL is a car most of the avarage public would recognise, hence getting more attention.
A bird or daytona would only be a real head turner to a yanky car fan.
Now a daytona GL would get loads of attention.

I do agree with this.
We specifically got a GL to do the "Sporting bears" because Joe Public does not know anything about American cars. It always got the most attention at the NEC and was constantly booked out - more so than many of the rarer and better cars - purely on the "identity recognition" aspect.
I did find, that due to the same reason, Joe Public did not know what the 'Bird or the Daytona was, and assumed I had barried up the car like some Corsa owner with "fake" wings and spoilers. In many respects, the GL got the most reaction on the street with the unwashed hoardes of the ignorant.
For the record, the original brief for the DOH was for Bo to have a Daytona from Nascar, but then there was the reality check that a dirt farmer could not afford one; hence the use of a "regular" (originally black) Charger - so you COULD have ended up with a Lee'd Daytona

Shoved the camera up into the scuttle area. Was well pleased at how clean it was

Can't quite make out the name of the steel company.
I'll have to get back out there and take a few more to try and catch the name ....

Looks like the first word says Surrey but I could be wrong. You spoken to Darren yet for me?
