Hey Dunc, think Kenny must of been pullin ya pi55er,Duster weighed 3200 lbs with me in it,amazing cause it had glass doors, bonnet & boot.probably should of made the cage outta moly and fit a 8.75.
Ended up with a all out race car that was only 600lbs lighter than my streetcar(GTX),so I sold it.
Done well to get the weight that low Jon

This is the time of year everyone puts on a bit of weight that can then be shed early the following year.
Dave Dillyboo is still building a 408 stroker for me but that won`t be ready for some time due to waiting on some of the bits.
So I grabbed this to put in the Valiant short term. Needs a bit of a tidy up ; new sump, new gaskets, new water pump, new msd dizzi, new blower belt then it`s good to go. Will have to temporarily move fuel lines and radiator to accomodate this.
P.S. ...Sorry for posting a Mopar related thread

light duty, was in a road going 32 ford hotrod, owned by a 70 year old guy so wouldn`t have seen any hard life.
360 c.i. + 6/71 blower + twin 600 carbs ... nicely built with all crower and manley bits

Either 273 or T/A rockers there, or are they after-market??

Look like 273 rocker as I have a set to go in my new build.

Either 273 or aftermarket rockers, T/A ones are offset. Unusual looking 2 piece blower case, 6/71's I've seen before are one piece, not that I know anything about them. I didn't think you'd be able to resist that one Jon!

Started making my new sump today to clear everything, starting with a new passenger car sump. Will be adding my own baffle plates and remaking oil pick up tube.
Hope to get the engine in next week or just after Christmas.
Don`t let anyone tell you smallblock stuff is cheap or easy, always seem to have to modify stuff to get it in
