If you're skint they can be an early christmas pressie from your mum

Doug's Headers are just as good as TTI but a little cheaper.
Not as much cheaper these days though.
About $50 difference on their small block header prices.
Break the engine in with some old headers or manifolds though otherwise you will destroy the ceramic coating.

Just a bit of an update and pictures to follow on the weekend.
The push-rods are ordered and being sourced by Chris at the moment, that will be engine, gearbox and prop ready
I have been striping the rear end to rebuild the drum brakes, only to find no half shaft gaskets, and the preload tensioner is completly buckled and screwed etc.
Sooooooo i have ordered green bearings and new gasket kit and this weekend i shall be taking the center section apart.
hopefully the rear end will be back together somewhere around the first week of may,i can then get the car over to Rickets who are going to sort out a bit of bodywork for me,weld the chassis and drivers side floorpan, meanwhile i will have the k-member cleaned and painted along with my headers [until i can afford TTI's.
When that is done rickets will be installing my new steering box and freshly painted k-member,then everything else can go back on
Have i missed anything, nope only pictures i will do that this weekend

Right bad news
Unfortunatly it looks very doubtfull that the roadrunner will be on the road this year,i wont be at any shows either.
I kind off knew what i was in for when i started, but then its the other bits that you dont take into account like my rearend and the other bits in life that you dont forsee, extra bills needing a new car etc.
I cant get the engine, gearbox and prop back in untill the chassis and front end bodywork is done, and thats the bit that is stoping me as i could really do with spending that money on new daily or bills etc,but all this means even if i do get it fineshed i still wont be able to go to shows untill i recoop some money lol
I can however keep prating around with it,like fitting the new handbrake cables, ball joints, etc etc,and the engine and gearbox are ready to go in now which is fantastic, and hopfully bacca is going to sort out my diff for me which is the last bill [and fingers crossed it doesnt need to much]

Well progress has been slow but it is all going to happen now.
Painted up the rear end and also my headers today, unfortunatly after much thought i cannot afford TTIs at the moment so will have to make do with what i have.
I was also helping tim the tank man take the engine out of the dart [which im hoping he has pictures of]
Next weekend i shall be putting in the diff [waiting for snubber] half shafts and reinstalling the drum brakes also hopfully the new power steering box.
Weekend after engine gearbox and prop and hopfully vroom vroom but we shall see anyway just a couple of pics started getting too dark for any more by the time i thought of it
mmmm diff thanks baccaman

The fuel line will hopfully be moved soon, most of the ancilleries are mocked up at the mo,so the plan will be to move the line to a more apropriate location when i start bolting things down properly, not amazingly happy with the line anyway but im not going to faff about with it now
