Went to the Hooe car show on August 1st - lovely day and an excellent of (mainly British) cars. A couple of Dodges and one Plymouth (all pre-war I think). Highly recommended if you like British cars from the 20's to the 60's. Hooe is located between Eastbourne and Hastings.

My Yorkshire Uncle used to have an old Lagonda like that first one. He was a long time member of the owners club.

As far as British Muscle goes I think you'd have to go some way to better this. Aston Martin Vantage Le Mans.

There was an Estate Agent in Sedgefield used to have one of those. My In-Laws used to live a few doors along from him. The mother-in-law was always going on about the bloke saying "He is only an Estate Agent" so when I saw his car I wondered how the hell he could afford it?

It turned out of course he owned a chain of estate agents. Still didn't impress my Mother-in-Law of course.

It will be one from the 1920s. Don't know which specific year but they started to look more sleek in the '30s.

Jem, I thought the V600 was the one to have?

Clivey, The V600 was an engine upgrade package that was available for the 'standard' Vantage. The Le Mans had the V600 package BUT was a limited edition of just 40 cars at £200k a pop.
