They're sprayed Organasol Tel...it's like Araldite and the real pain was the masking blew open and I oversprayed the front end.

Nice.

I'm totally shagged out.

The reason?

I've fitted the sound deadening, carpets, glass...broke the screen...fitted new wheels and tyres, set the suspension, adjusted the brakes, rebuilt the seat that fell apart...found that the yanks had welded up the runners on the bench seat too, neveretheless re foamed and resprung the seats, upholstered the whole car, restored the seatbelts in the dishwasher (thanks Bilko!) and this morning I turned the key...

Rumpetty rumpetty rump rump, shifted it into gear and drove off to the MOT station accompanied by the smell of burning exhaust paint, a rich mixture and with the air grabber wired shut, because I haven't had time to fit it all up.

Steers like a dream, stops as straight as a die and goes like some sort of a mad thing.

I love this car and it hasn't even passed the MOT yet
