Thats looking great Nick, think the yellow is the nicest option as its period and not hugely common

doesn't look like a lot has changed but believe me its alot straighter ive used 9 ltrs of high build primer most of which i swept up and put in the bin or dug out of my nose. my mates who are paint sprayers think its funny that ive used so much paint, but to an untrained eye i need to spray a guide coat over fresh paint then block to see if its straight. one more guide with 400 this time then the paint.

I've got a feeling that this is going to be one beautiful car when finished.

Daytime pics this was tuesday put in the sun to bake. only one run on the front lower panel, not bad for the first respay in about 22 years, god im getting old. used 2 pack mambo yellow(fiat pale yellow 2010), it will be easy to match or touch in, just need to flat and compound it. tried a small area tonight it looks great. as i sprayed it in my garage theres a bit dust and two dead bugs but they will rub out or be spot sprayed. thats why i stuck to a solid colour easy to fix any problems.
