Cheers Morgan, it's usually just me. There's a bit of history there, had some some good times. Brilliant story about sitting in the tour van out the back of the Northwick in Worcester, but it's not for forum consumption, so I'll tell you when I see you at the races sometime.

Torn between the Blower Bentley that won the GP in 1929 and the GT40 that kicked Ferrari's ass at Le Mans.
I think the GT40 takes it but only if in unrestored, race-dirty condition

Well apart from the 1968 no options Hemi Road Runner and a Ferrari 599 GTB, I must continue my Austin seven fetish...fabric body...lovely.

You wouldn't have to win the lottery to buy one of those would you Ivor? Can only be worth 10/6d

Jem, it's not the value of the Austin itself (which is worth about eight grand) it's the full set I'd need the lottery for!
10/6d indeed, I remember when you could have a night at the fleapit, go down the pub, get legless, have a fish supper, buy a new overcoat and pair of boots and still have ninepence left...

You're talking rubbish Ivor, the overcoat and boot shop would have been closed at that time of night....

For those that would buy Vanke's car - your luck is in if you win the lottery.
