Thanks again to Derek for organising it, Ivor for sorting the MMA presence and John, Scott, Connor and all the other stewards I don't know for putting in the hours.

Great to see everybody again and meet some new members. And great to see some new cars like the Petty Superbird and the 71 318 Cuda convertible. My favourites of the day were Jem's old nail ;) and the bronze 70 GTX :thumbright:

Great day out, really enjoyed talking to folks. Lovely to see Don Scott's tribute Superbird, I am really pleased to see him back in the mopar fold once again. The " mad viking" Jess Neilsen hit us over the head with a great car. Man that 71 Hemi Cuda ragtop, in purple with a white interior looked stunning. Worth going to the Show just to see that in the flesh.
Well done to everyone in the MMA and nice to see Dave Robson so far down South!

Yeah and they had me parked away around a corner out of the way to hide my embarrassment Dunc.

But a 660 mile round trip and only used less than £100 of fuel. I couldn't get South of Yorkshire on 100 quids worth in the Chally.

I must admit I did quite driving the chevy once I could get it up into the 85-95mph range. It is very stable and the engine starts to sound nice. It is still only around the 2500rpm mark though so not exactly screaming.

While I was away from the car someone parked either side to make it a C4-C5-C6 display. I think some of these Corvette owners have a touch of COD.
