Had this '68 Barracuda for a year or so while I was pro streeting the Duster, used it as a daily, cost £350, I painted it, rebuilt the trans, put the wheels on and a couple of other jobs. Sold it for £1500, the guy ran it for a while then pulled it apart to pro street it, never did it, sold it on and it disappeared, no doubt got scrapped.

Replaced the Barracuda with this 6 cyl.'66 Dart as a daily, bit rough round the edges but it did me for a year or so. Then, I couldn't turn down this '69 D100, so that became my daily and the Dart got tucked away as a project for another day.

Absolutely. Mr Wiseman has owned just about every dream Mopar you can imagine. T/A. AAR. Daytona. Cuda convertible. 2x Superbirds. 2xCoronet sixpacks. etc etc.
Would it not be simpler if Pete and Duncan Watts just post cars they have not owned instead
Hope pete does not mind? but here is Carl Roadrunner with one of Petes Winged cars

and a pic of Petes Petty Superbird.

What ever happened to big red and loud? I remember being sorely temoted when it came up on ebay, but couldn't get the cash together to make an offer, not seen it since it sold.

Sad story .... The new owner started to cut it up/break it up. Think some one bought it off the guy to rescue it. I am sure if you do a search, you may find the thread

It WAS backhalved many years ago.
A classic case of someone getting into somthing they did not understand.
I hope what remains of the car will get resurrected at some point.........

Basically the nuts were loose on one rear wheel. It came off and badly damaged the rear quarter.

It was someone else who started the thread about BRL being cut up and sold in parts......Can't remember who started it.
If i remember emotions got a bit high on that one with Andyrob, Jeff and BRL Paul about the quality of the build, and the fact he refused to sell as a whole car for someone else to rebuild and keep on the road/in existence...........Paul went quiet after that if i remember (not saying anything just trying to recolect on what happened)!

I read both threads, Interesting story and the history of just one car
