Why not??
I'm a big Dukes fan and a Lee would be my first choice, but i can't afford one of those,so this is my second choice of Mopar. It will also be my first ever Mopar too.
I like the style of a '77/78 Fury or Monaco and they are not seen very often and at end of the day it's all down to personal choice and we are all different which makes this forum a great place!!

No worries.
My old GL is in some of those pics.
For some reason I went and sold it.
My boys have talked me into building another so will be starting that in oct/nov job permitting!

Hi Danny.....welcome to this GREAT club mate and good luck with the hunt for your perfect car! Get yourself on craigslist and do a ton of browsing before you buy as you will find the later C bodies are dirt cheap still in the states (compared to chargers etc) and you will probably find that, including shipping etc, you will get a really nice one in dollars for the same in pounds over here!
Just be prepared to have the Bananarama! ripped out of you for four doors but the clan is growing and one day we will rule the streets comrade!
Cheers and all the best .... Steve

I know its a wagon Danny but a quick search brought this up.....
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/ct ... 11339.html
Very nice condition and Im sure she would be yours, shipped for under £6k.....and thats a nice one! If you are happy to do a bit of work to a solid car, they are much less. If you ship though, the price (excluding taxes etc) will be the same for a $1000 car as a $10000 car so you are as well finding a nice one as there isnt much difference between the price of a wreck and a good un....relatively speaking. I reckon with a £2 - 3k car budget without shipping, you will find a beauty!!
Cheers Steve
