I would imagine there will be a larger turnout of stocker style cars at the mopars than dragstalgia, so you could run another round there.

I think a few of you will know the car when u see it.
It's a yellow 68 dart,383 big block, 727, 3200 stall converter, slicks with super stock rear springs. Did have 150 shot of gas but I've removed it as the car was unused for a few years and I didn't trust it. The car used to belong to David Coleman I think, the guy that runs Zeon tv?? Does all the DVDs from pod ect
I run my own garage and crewed on a fuel funny car for 10 years but this is my go at some proper racing :-)

I know the car well its the ex Big Bopper, it was owned by Hugh Potter before Dave had it. I had to change a couple of gearbox tail shafts on that as they kept smacking the trans cross member as the engine needed to be tied in better, not sure if Dave ever did that or not..

That's the one lol my first job was change the tail housing as it was cracked!!
Any info and pics anyone has would be great as I was unsure what colour scheme to go with but if no one objects I think a re birth might be needed :-)

First owned by Micky Fullbrock back in the early Eighties can't remember what engine it had in it either a 340 or 383 but I remember it had a Jag manual gearbox

No I don't think so, I haven't seen Mick in years or Hugh Potter and I heard Glen Alexander died some years back. I remember when Mick first got it, it was gold with white wheels and a 340 4 speed very tatty, paid something stupid like 250 quid for it. Seem to recall it had a steel sunroof in it?

Talking of tailshafts that car has broken several, that shouldn't happen so something isn't right. Unless you find the cause it's going to keep happening on a regular basis.
