Just spoke to James at the Pod. The event is likely to sell out - which is very positive.
Barracuda booked into RWYB.
£25 per day payable at the time of registering.
The RWYB is Pre-Book only filling up rapidly, and there is a limit applied to it. No "on the day" entry.
The Other invited classes are less stringent and you need to register the week before the event - i.e. Wild Bunch.
This is not an MSA event.
See you there!!!!

Thanks Pete / Pete, we all booked in for superstock. James told me that for this event it is possible if camping to get on site on the Thursday before the gates shut at 5.30pm, although there will be no facilities open. Saves going up Dawn's crack on Friday

James rang me today , there will be no limit to haw many cars can enter the SS class But ,,,and heres the but i will have to run a 16 car field that means a bump spot if we have more than 16 cars..... so if you do not make the sixteen in qualifiying i am afraid your out .....but James said you are more than welcome to join the RWYB at no extra cost,,,So you will still get to run either way ....Now if we get 32 cars ,,,we live in hope,,, i will run a 32 car ladder....So it should be good for everyone ....Pits will be busy but we have an allocated pit area which should be big enough even for Andyrobs bungalow.........Get there Friday if you can early ,there is no chaos when racing in our class,,, we get called when they want us in the fire up road at our allocated time to race.....the queue moves quickly as the Pod crew have this system well rehearsed .... So all in all a good weekends racing to be had and throw in the burlesque,, beer festival.US race cars and me on the barbi ,,,you can,t ask for more than that

Just spoke to James at the Pod, if coming up on the Thursday as we are, he is asking that we can be in the grounds by 5.30pm to our allotted pit area or worst way by 8.00pm. So it does seem as though there is a little flexibility there.

Well, against all the odds, we got the Barracuda buttoned up tonight and all systems, including the Nitrous, tested and working OK.
NO LEAKS - we changed the rear main seal FOUR times before we got it oil tight - thanks to Dave Billadeau for his advice. We tried many different approaches before we cracked it...
..ALSO it has had the convertor changed for the THIRD time, as we think that the 4200 stall one will give us the best results on the Trans-brake.
We aim to get to the Pod on Thursday - see you all there!!!
