Well, my first year in the club and on the stand ; it was an honour to serve.
Just about everyone that I met was new to me and all are a great bunch.
I made an effort by supplying sweets, Road Runner sign and . . oh yes, the Sub Lime Challenger but a big thanks to ;

Ivor - giving me the chance to help and organising it all
Martin - organising and helping all over
Pete - increasing my Mopar brain exponentially
Jon - coffee, the odd tea, stories and dusting ALL the cars every morning
Nigel - the 8 track and contemporary cartridge

I can't top any of the pictures that have already appeared with one possible exception ; got there at 07.30 on Saturday to find 'Mr Ben' - Classic American Ed. - on his knees in front of the Charger trying to get the safety catch off to begin his Car of the Year inspection. makes a good picture.

One for a future MMA Calendar I think - on your knees paying respect to a Mopar - as it should be.

Thanks.

Matt

I'm impressed that you called 'em Marathons but now I know what weasel scoffed them all. Second day I went a bit up-market and we had Roses.
If I help out next year it will be Heroes and Quality Street . . .

Hang on, better get the cars sorted before the refreshments . . .

Well, I'd like to say that I went straight up tonight and fitted the Cartridge Player and chilled out to the 'Sound of Silence' but . . . I'm a bit slow like that.

I'm really pleased that you like the book ; I just hope it has not turned you to the dark side ! I'll keep an eye and ear open for a T piece for the washers as, since reading that book, I'm a master washer system technician. Based on doing one . . .

Anyway, I expect you have things to be getting on with - like putting paint inspection marks all over the chassis ; I'm bringing a mirror on a stick next time to ensure it's all done just like the chaps on the production line in 1970 couldn't actually be bothered to do right most of the time . . . probably.

They're already there!

See you soon

Back on that Duster.....

Here's how it used to be circa 1986, at Gary's Picnic that year. Think the guy that 'converted' it to how it is now, who was a member on here, was called Mitch?

The 3 ducks on the parcel shelf were a Roughneck thing, so I expect Blue knows it quite well. Plus it's parked next to Chris Muldutch's Coronet so must have been with the Waltham Abbey massive :)

That was long before it was local, seem to remember the guy came from Liverpool. We made him an honarary member after his legendary inability to deal with alcohol, surely you remember him?
