Ive got some very small collections going, just little bits that I can pick up a military fairs, book shops etc but nothing on this scale. I havent got the space or cash to be honest.
Collecting is a man thing I think, nice when you find a little thing you were looking for at a show etc. Think the tinterweb has ruined it a bit. If you collect anything, a few hours and a wad in your paypal account will get you everything you would normally have spent years hunting for. Then onto the next thing. Not my idea of collecting really.
I collect inert cartridges and bullets for my mates lad. I have a few for him but I leak them out slowly to him so he has something to look forward to every few weeks, like the old days
