Well Dave was able to paint the Road Runner today. After the endless work he has put into it, it was finally ready for the paint booth this morning. I went down to give him a hand cleaning off and masking up.

Well Dave I am very impressed, you've done an absolutley cracking job :thumbright:

And a big thanks to Denise for helping out this mornin' Thankyou Denise and thanks for the brew :thumbright:

And it was good to see you too today Ian :thumbright:

I think it looks absolutley brilliant and I'm really looking forward to when I can get behind the wheel and drive it. But I'm gonna take my time over the winter and just do one job at once and by the Spring of next year, should be ready for the cruises and the shows.

And here's how it looks as from a couple of hours ago. Dave , I cant thank you enough, looks stunning :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

factory book shows you're 2/8" out on the 2x black stripes... :D

When those stripes went on first, it just came alive. It was stunning before the lacquer went on. Well done Dave, truly superb job. It was never going to be anything else, after all that hard work, its paid off. Now John, go steady with that trim!

Hey John, Mrs MOPARNUTTER says you owe her a drink, because after sweeping and mopping the booth, she broke a finger nail removing the old air grabber stickers from the scoop :thumbright:
