Alex. So Richard Petty confirmed that Petty Blue is Ford Grabber Blue (or whatever it's called). That goes against previous wisdom that tells it was a mix of what blues he had that got mixed together in a bucket, and Petty Blue was the result.
What bothers me is that Petty was using that blue well early in his career. Surely it must pre-date the Ford colour? Perhaps the Ford colour was near enough for him to change to it in later years rather than keep trying to match his earlier concoction?

Always difficult to assess colours and colour charts on PC monitors, plus degradation of charts and paint in the first place.

i have always been a big big fan of steel wheels painted body color...but those wheels do look like they would look good on the car
similar look to the Black ones that was on the real thing
