I have got plenty of spare pants & was donated a cork this week to help
On the spot, not really, it will run what it runs.
Could be a no brainer without slicks, will have to wait and see
I also have no problem admitting, it will also be down to how I feel
Trying to get out of the hole, with radials & a lot of lb's/ft could be interesting

I tell you what, Mate, cork jokes aside, I am seriously impressed by your fabrication work.
You have a gift there Mate.

I'm so looking forward to the Nats, for so many reasons, but one of them is going to be looking round this car closely. Seriously impressed with the standard you are chucking out.
Big respect.

Chute mount finished, just the release cable & release handle to fit now. Easy to fit/remove, as don't fancy driving on the street with a chute, can imagine some little oik releasing it, when parked
Finished putting F/Inj hat back today, even went for a blast this afternoon. Met a nice rsehole in local accessory shop, wouldn't believe me that the alternator belt was 725 & wanted the model number to verify...

time to leave.
Got one in Halfords

Nice detail
Looks like there'll be a lot of leverage on the bottom weld of the swan-neck bit when the chute pops?

No leverage on the swan neck, that only holds the chute. The chute is located to the chassis

Gradually working the jobs of the list.
Parachute all finished tonight, including release.
Starter motor done last night, that wasn't on my list & not a simple job like I was expecting
Will change the trans fluid tomorrow.
Still a few days left & a few more jobs to do, plus some unexpected ones will no doubt crop up
