Had a great laugh as usual at ICE this afternoon/evening, sorry I did not think about taking any pics, not that there's much to see, what has already been seen

Motor bottom end all built up, heads on & rocker gear in place, awaiting new pushrods.

Sorted out how to do the Oil pump, Fuel pump & Alternator belt drives today. Need to modify main drive snout & need to sort out a new Alternator pulley, plus a slight mod to the main oil feed (elimination of gasket for 'O Ring) overall a good day ;)

Should be able to collect at the end of the month... 8-)

Wow. Serious bit of kit.
I'd have to leave the build at that stage for a couple of days , just to admire it ;)

If I had a Ali block and heads I would have to anodise them black or some outragous colour.

What about painting the motor sublime, as a tribute to the old colour scheme? :help: :thumbright:

I'd leave it well alone and bask in its Aluminium greatness, and just in case it has to come apart again (for routine servicing!!)

They are a thing of beauty,,,,,, so what problems did you have Mark ???? i assumed wrongly you were having some sort of govorning problems as its such a complex set up ??? or was it just down to engine sealing like i had ?//

Dunc,

Yes poor sealing. It was basically down to the wrong ring selection for Pistons, the oil ring pack bottom support ring,
