Simon, on the electrics, if your car cut out but then bump started Ok, why do you think it's the electrics? Could be fueling problem especially as the motor has been out and the fuel lines disturbed

well i dont but look at my wiring and you will understand why i am doing it i will take pictures of before and after i want to keep this car for a long time so every job that i do or gets done on this car is going to be done properly so im not going to just replace a couple of wires they are all going to be done im not going to just patch up the body work it will all be done [in segments] etc etc

well i havent posted much on this but im just having fun now

i have managed to paint my engine i know people said i should have done this to start with but i did like it black but just fancied a change and will proberly change it again soon lol

got to clean up a few spills etc i got on piping and covers etc but other than that its come out good

i have got about 5 boxes of wiring etc for the car ready to go in sat on te back seat and i have new window motors to go in plus cb radio new horn and new speakers and wiring etc for them

me and a freind are going to be putting the carpet put back in once the weather is half decent again

so there we go bit of an update

Funny, I was gonna stick one in the truck.... There was a thread ages ago, there were a few on here with them, and a few going to get one.

As as a class "A" Licensed Radio Amatuer. I have all sorts in the loft, HF, UHF and VHF transcievers!
I am keeping this Mopar....... SOLD!

i just have a midland 38 with a mini arial tank is getting one to and i think phill440 has got somthing similar

hope you guys like the paint on the engine by the way :lol: :thumbright:

Looks good to me Si :thumbright: but then again, I am colour blind :wacko:

I mean, for all I know, you could have painted it fluorescent pink :lol: :shock:

i knowit looks pink but it is actually red phone camera plus lots of light lol trust me its red

still got the bottom end to paint will probably do that tomorrow if the weather holds

then its off to swindon auto electrics on Friday for the wiring bits cannot wait to get it back

i am repositioning the rev dial up on to the dash board instead of down where i cannot see it so hopfully that will look good and also kevs old oil pressure temp etc cluster of the taxi is going in :thumbright:
