I see today that they're supporting Vista Chino (previously Kyuss Lives.... previously Kyuss) this Oct/Nov.
Got tickets for the Camden Town Roundhouse gig, so that's a bit of a bonus
Likewise - fancied seeing The Answer so booked tix for that gig a while ago, then saw that Tracer are supporting - another great new band we've already seen headlining a couple of times, so another great double-bill

Great gig last Friday at Camden Town's Electric Ballroom:
The Answer, supported by Tracer, supported by Cage The Gods.
We saw Tracer earlier this year with Cage The Gods supporting and were very impressed with them then - young British band (1 English, 1 Scottish, 1 Welsh & 1 Irish). Nothing too original, tbh, just well played, high energy, classic rock. And the rest of the crowd loved them too. Only an ep released so far but expect to hear more of them as time passes...
Aussie band Tracer took it up a notch tho - good as CTG are, Tracer's quality and experience shone thru (and theyre only young too). 2 1/2 (an ep) great albums in to a long career, hopefully.
Hadnt seen The Answer headlining before (saw them on AC/DC's last tour when I thought they were an ok support band) but have 3 of their albums which have some great songs and have moments of originality, tho on the whole theyre quite blusey, quite Black Crowesy, despite being from Norn Iron (Co Down).
They went down a storm on Friday and worked the crowd well. The early drum solo and later guitar solo were a bit too 70's (not in a good way, imho) for my taste

but on the whole theyre very slick & professional for a relatively new band
