There are loads more than that around. Even up here.

There are also several 70s done that way. There used to be an insurance advert on TV that used a 70 GL as well.

They are as common and tastefull as a gum chewing woman with her hair pulled back tight and big hoop ear rings.

A "Chav" in other words Dave.

I think you are all being way too hard on GL fans here.

I don't think "taste" is the right word to use there.

I think people should have a think about what counts here. Is it wrong to take a rusted out car that other people give up on and then spend vast amounts of money to live out a childhood dream? To me its another Classic back on the road regardless of colour.
I don't see a problem with it. So what is it with all the attitude towards a G/L ? Does anyone else on here turn on Challengers or Fury's etc and pass negative comment....I don't think so. Perhaps G/L owners are more considerate & more understanding to other peoples dreams.
This is just my opinion. I love to see all the other cars on here & look forward to The Nat's to talk to other people about their cars regardless of make/model. Obviously I seem to be in the minority here.

theres nothing realy wrong with them its just that i prefere looking at a stock or slightly modified car. i like the colour its just there are to many of them around although i suppose that the GL made the 69 so popular

Adrian,do exactly what you want with YOUR car  Round these parts it's rare to see any yank motor on the road,so I'd be happy to see a General running. It's just when you get to a show and there's a row of 'em all looking identical. BTW,regarding Furys,I was asked by one kind soul at the Nat's when was I gonna get a proper Mopar

Yeah, dont listen to Connor Ade, he has a picture of the new Mustang for his Avatar. How much taste can he have?

You GL what you blummin well want mate (just not my car)

I'd still have a wander round it for a good old gander if it was pink with green spots with "Dodge Blobby Charger" painted down the side. :D :D :D
