Well I was all Geared up to Bring The Coronet, To The Nats, Then When I Had To Move it recently I Had Hardly any Brakes, so I had a Butchers underneath, and could see Brake Fluid That had Ran Down on The Front Left (Port Side) Tyre. Turns out it was the Wheel cylinder, So ordered a Pair, Thought I might as well Change Both of Them, The Brake Shoes were Quite worn, so ordered some, 11 inch Drums all round on this car, Got sent the Wrong ones, even though I said the car needs 11/3 Shoes, So I sent them Back, and Decided To get them Relined at a local firm, took about 3 days, come to £37. I had a right game Trying to Release the Brake Hoses, So ordered up one, to be on the safe side, Promply got sent a Hose That was no Good, it was a Back hose for a car with Disc Brakes, :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: So as time was short, I got them made Local as Well, £51 for the Pair, But they are Stainless Steel, I Don't Know if I should have rung round and tried to Get the Rubber Style ones. Anyway with a mates Help, Bleeded the Brakes, and Im now in a Position To Give it a Test, [-o< While The Wheels were off, I Painted under all the Front Wings, using Hammarite Paint, with Wax Oil in, I am going to Paint the whole car underneath using this Stuff, unless anyone can Suggest What else You can use, here is a few pics. :help: :thumbright:
